Changelog — Usage Meter for Claude

What changed in each release. The Chrome Web Store only ever shows the current version’s notes, so this is the full record.

2026-08-10

The Pacing Score is now daily, and appears after just two active days. It used to need a reading at the exact moment your weekly limit reset — if your browser was closed then (overnight, for many time zones), the score never appeared at all. Each day now gets its own 0–100 score, and the headline is the average of your last seven days.
The streak flame counts good days now, not weeks. Days you don't use Claude pause it instead of breaking it, and one off day per fortnight is forgiven.
When the score can't show yet, the popup says what it's actually waiting for, instead of “after your first full week”.
The dashboard's history chart now labels its axes — a % scale on the left, dates along the bottom. It also no longer draws things that aren't rate limits: the extra-usage spend figure (money, not usage) and per-model caps sitting untouched at 0% used to appear as extra lines.

Now in French, Spanish and German, as well as English and Japanese. That covers the whole extension — the popup, the dashboard, the badge tooltip and every message — not just this website. It follows your browser’s language, and you can override that in the dashboard settings.
There is now somewhere to report a bug or ask for something: a feedback link at the bottom of the dashboard. It is an ordinary link you click — the extension itself still sends nothing anywhere, and neither its permissions nor its privacy policy changed.
Fixed: in the popup, the “Pacing score after your first full week” note was squeezed into a narrow three-line column beside the “View dashboard” link. The link now moves to its own line instead.

Fixed: importing history from another computer could fail with “That file could not be read” when there was nothing wrong with the file. If you saw this, import the same file again — nothing was lost, and the import never half-finished.
When an import does fail, it no longer blames your file for a fault at our end — it says what actually happened and what to try next.

Fixed: the toolbar badge always showed your 5-hour percentage, which isn’t always the limit that stops you first. It now shows whichever limit is closest, and hovering it lists them all.
Import history from another computer. Export there, import here, and the two histories are combined — nothing is overwritten. Unlike the sync option, this works in any browser.
Per-model weekly caps now appear in the dashboard chart, so you can see one pulling ahead of the all-models line.
If you use Claude on two computers, the popup now points out the history-sync option once. Sync stays off unless you turn it on.
Fixed: the 24-hour chart’s hover text could report a reading as up to 30 minutes older than it was.
Fixed: the sync setting could say it was working in browsers that don’t actually replicate the data. It now shows a sync ID instead — devices sharing a history show the same one.

Models with their own weekly cap (such as Fable) now get their own bar in the popup. That cap can fill up before your all-models one, so it is often the number that actually stops you.
Fixed: a false “Claude changed its API shape” message that appeared whenever your 5-hour window was simply untouched.
Optional history sync across your own devices, off by default. It uses Chrome’s own profile sync, so there is no account to create and no server involved.

Japanese interface, switchable at any time rather than locked to your browser language.
A momentary connection blip no longer replaces your numbers with an error. The last good reading stays put until the failure looks real.
Default refresh interval changed from 5 to 10 minutes.
