This policy covers this website — apps.magnote.com, the catalog where Magnote publishes its apps. Each app listed here handles its own data and has its own privacy policy; those are linked below.
What this site collects
This site is a set of static pages. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no forms, and no comment or contact features, so we never ask you for personal information.
We do use Google Analytics to see which pages people find useful — page views, rough location by country, and the kind of device and browser in use. To do that it sets cookies in your browser and Google processes the data as our provider, under Google’s own privacy policy. We do not use it for advertising, we run no advertising tags, and we do not sell or share this data. If you would rather not be counted, any browser setting or extension that blocks Google Analytics, or Google’s own opt-out add-on, is enough — the site works exactly the same either way.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes each request in order to deliver the page and protect the service, and may keep short-lived operational logs (for example the requesting IP address and browser user agent). We do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors, and we add no data collection of our own on top of them.
Links to other sites
Pages here link out to the places our apps actually live — the Chrome Web Store, GitHub, and similar. Once you follow such a link you are on that operator's site, under their privacy policy, not ours.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same URL with a new “Last updated” date.
