What data the extension handles

• The extension requests your usage figures directly from claude.ai, using the claude.ai login session already present in your browser. It never sees, asks for, or stores your password, and it has no login of its own.
• The response (usage percentages, reset timestamps, and your organization ID) is cached in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) so the display loads instantly. The extension also keeps a local time-series of those percentages (up to 90 days) to compute its pacing score, badges, and charts — all of this stays on your device.

What the extension does NOT do

• It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data with the developer or any third party. There is no server component, no analytics, no telemetry, and no tracking of any kind.
• It does not read your conversations, prompts, or any content on claude.ai — only the usage/limits figures.
• It contacts only claude.ai. No other network requests are made.

Data retention and removal

All cached data lives only on your device. Uninstalling the extension removes it. You can also clear it at any time via chrome://extensions→ Usage Meter for Claude → “Clear data”, or by removing the extension's site access.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same URL with a new “Last updated” date.
